Austin is a seeker of adventure and creativity. Born and raised on the lakes of the Midwest, he’s as real as they come. Continually drawing inspiration from real life experiences and passions, Austin has a knack for creating imagery that is genuine, energetic, and authentic.
When Austin isn’t chasing images and stories with a camera, he’s out living the stories and traveling with his wife and daughter. In fact, the two often go hand in hand, embracing the ‘Work hard. Play hard.’ style that describes his approach to life.
In the early 2000’s he founded what would eventually become AWStudio in the spare bedroom of his house. Since then, Austin and his team have grown the studio into one of the region’s top production companies headquartered in the historic Hemingway Building. Now with photographers, directors, and post-production partners spanning North America, AWS supports productions of all sizes and budgets.
